CANCELLATION POLICY

At The NotaryCan Signing Services, LLC we value your time and strive to provide efficient and reliable online notary services. To ensure smooth operations and accommodate all our clients effectively, we have established the following cancellation & refund policy. 


Appointment Deposit 

  •  To secure your notary appointment, a $25 deposit is required. This deposit will be applied to the total cost of your notary service once completed. You can make the deposit at the time of booking, and your appointment will be confirmed once the deposit is received. 


Cancellations & No Shows 

  • If you need to cancel your scheduled appointment, please inform us at least 24 hours in advance. This will enable us to offer the time slot to another client in need of our services. You can reach us by phone at 787-616-5121 or by email at lyannenotary@gmail.com.


  •  A "no show" is defined as failing to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice or canceling with less than 24 hours' notice. For the first instance of a no-show or late cancellation, the appointment deposit will be forfeited. We recognize that unexpected situations can occur, so we will send you a reminder about the missed appointment and offer a chance to reschedule.


Refunds

Due to the nature of notary services, refunds are generally not available once services have been provided. This includes completed notarizations or executed notarial acts. Refunds will only be considered for advance payments made for notary services that have not yet been performed.

 

Refundable Circumstances:

  1. Appointment Cancellation: If you cancel your appointment with at least 24 hours' notice, any advance payment, excluding the non-refundable deposit, will be eligible for a refund.
  2. Service Unavailability: If we are unable to provide the notary service due to unforeseen circumstances or issues on our part, a full refund, including the non-refundable deposit, will be issued.

 

Refund Requests:

To request a refund, please email us at lyannenotary@gmail.com within 3 days of the original payment date. Refunds will be processed through the original payment method. Allow a reasonable processing time for the refund to appear in your account, as the timeframe may vary depending on your financial institution.
